We are the Olympic Peninsula's largest and most experienced heating contractor with more than 6,000 successful system installations since 1974. Unlike other companies that specialize in furnaces, air conditioners or heat pumps, we specialize in "systems." Equipment alone cannot satisfy your comfort needs. Our comfort specialists survey your home or business and interview you to determine what your needs are and then design the best system to fit those needs. What fits the "average home" may or may not be what is best for you. Our 26 team members have been trained by the best in the industry to identify and meet your needs. We have specialists trained in system sizing and design, installation, service, indoor air quality, piping and heat transfer, and air duct design. In fact, we value training so much, that on average we have someone in class everyday, over 2,000 hours per year. This has allowed us to be recognized as industry leaders as we have been hired to train other contractors. We believe that comfort and safety are the most important concerns for your home and have designed our business to meet these concerns. We have won many awards for excellence, recognizing us as industry leaders for customer service, sales growth and application and installation skills. Industry standards are our minimum standards. We have worked with Washington State and local utilities to design and implement studies and programs to reduce energy costs and raise industry standards. The SOAR Award is awarded to the dealer who not only is in the top 10% of Trane dealers in the nation, but also ranks highest among dealers in the seven-states served by its HVAC distributor. The award is based on sales growth, dealer image, application and installation skills, customer satisfaction, dealer attendance at local training schools, profitability and sales of extended warranties.

Our History

Air Flo Heating was started in 1974 by Robert F. Bequette. Mark Bequette who now owns the company joined the firm in 1975. Robert Bequette had over 30 years of experience in the heating industry when he started the company. Sequim was chosen to base the company because of the lifestyle and recreational opportunities the area provides. Mark Bequette joined the company to expand on his installation and design abilities, and to use his business and marketing training obtained in college. When the company was established, high quality central heating and cooling was not common in this area. That's why the name Air Flo Heating was chosen, to convey the idea of moving air to provide optimum comfort. By providing quality installations and focusing on customer needs we have grown to be the Olympic Peninsula's largest heating contractor with over 50% market share. This means we install more systems than all our competitors combined. We currently have 26 team members, a 20 vehicle fleet and a 8,500 square-foot warehouse and shop area. We specialize in heat pumps, high efficiency air filters and automatic zoning systems for individual room control.
